At least that’s what the developers of the game tell us. Its set on the island of Blackreef, a place that is currently under attack by a shadowy organization known as The Eye. After releasing their latest attack on the island, the Eye are on the verge of being defeated.
The idea of weather boerne is that you’re on a space station on an isolated planet. You are the only one that has been able to set foot inside the space station yet. The story of Weather boerne is that a few years ago a bunch of people were trying to get in to the space station and somehow made it to the surface. It turns out someone on the surface is trying to make weather boerne happen for the whole island.
The thing is that the Weather boerne concept isn’t that much new. The idea is that someone has already tried and failed to gain entry to the space station. So they’re now trying to make it rain from space, and hope that it dries out from the surface. Now, for the first time, we get a glimpse of the kind of game that Black River Studios hopes will change the face of games.
Thats right, Black River Studios. The guys behind Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and Wolfenstein: The New Order are back with a title that’s pretty much the same idea as the original, but with an entirely different twist. Our favorite new part of the trailer is the big flash of light in the sky, followed by a big splash that turns into a rain of blood. That splash is the only thing you get that lets you know its raining.
